10 new uses of Aluminum Foil

You already know that aluminum foil is a must-have in the kitchen, but its flexible metal structure makes it very useful throughout the entire house.  There are some new uses of aluminium foil, that's the reasons why you should stock up:

1. Sharpen Scissors: Fold a piece of aluminum foil several times and cut it several times with dull scissors to sharpen them.

2. Clean Silverware: Place a piece of aluminum foil in the bottom of a container, add boiling water and baking soda, and soak silverware in the solution to remove tarnish.

3. Protect Pie Crust: Place a strip of aluminum foil around the rim of a pie crust to prevent it from burning.

4. Remove Rust: Soak rusted items in a solution of vinegar and aluminum foil to remove rust.

7. Create a Funnel: Fold a piece of aluminum foil into a funnel to transfer liquids into bottles or containers.

8. Iron Clothes: Place a piece of aluminum foil under the ironing board cover to reflect heat and iron clothes faster.

9. Protect Paint: Place a piece of aluminum foil behind a stove or sink to protect painted walls from splatters and stains.

10. Wrap Presents: Use aluminum foil instead of wrapping paper for a unique and shiny wrapping option.
